Dope cover of Hall and Oates "I Can't Go For That". The Bird and the Bee from Los Angeles, California have some awesome covers which also includes "Maneater" and "Rich Girl". The whole album is their interpretation and tribute to Hall and Oates. Great arrangements, smooth soothing vocals and a stellar remake of a classic song. Go buy it or check them out live.

(News) New IamDJEZ website COMING SOON!
My "IamDJEZ" website launched in November and it has been given a whole new make over. The site will launch in the next few weeks. Brand new events calendar, blog built into the site, twitter updates, a new and improved photo gallery along with much much more. Also, did I mention I got rid of that awful fall color scheme? Overall, it's just a much more complete and professional looking site. A big thank you to G11 Studios for making this happen. I'm excited to get this off the ground.

(Music) Return of the Lisztomania
So I've been working on my new mix called "Bee's Knee'z" and figured I would release a little something off of it for all 3 of you out there haha. The mix is all easy listening and "cool music". The "Bee's Knee'z" mix will be release by Torches on the Hudson as part of their Summer Series Mix. It's a fun little project with something other than the top 40 stuff that people listen too everyday.

DJ EZ @ WMC 2010
I made my first trip down to WMC this year and it was nothing short of an amazing 72 hour blur. All though I was only there from late Tuesday night to Friday morning I attempted to see as many artists and squeeze myself in as many parties as possible. I ended seeing some great shows, (at Mansion, LIV, Set, Play, the Gansevoort) met a lot of cool people and of course got to catch up with old friends. Above is one of the 5 pictures I took from that whole week. It is from the Laidback Luke show on Wednesday night at LIV. It was so crazy the fire marshall stopped letting people in. Artists in the booth included, Laidback Luke, Afrojack, David Guetta, Tiesto, Supersmash, Dada Life, Calvin Harris and many many more. It was kind of surreal to have all of these people in the same room let alone the same booth. Honestly Laidback Luke and his "Super You and Me" show killed it from start to finish. I also checked out MSTRKRFT, Benni Benassi, Wolfgang Gartner, Kaskade, Riz and Siz and so many more talented artists. WMC was an eye opening experience and I will definitely be returning next year for round 2.

A-Trak is one of those household DJ names that just kills it time and time again. While I wasn't overly impressed the first time I heard him live at M2 in NYC (maybe because he came on just after Jazzy Jeff) he absolutely kills it in this remix. He transforms Birdman and Drakes "Money to Blow" into a club banger that will keep you energized all night. A-Trak uses the beat of "Toyfriend" produced by David Guetta off of his One Love Album to create "Loonies to Blow"
Pretty solid Eh?!?!

(Music) Dance The Way I Feel - Ou Est Le Swimming Pool
The Electro-pop band known as Ou Est Le Swimming Pool out of Northern London is making some noise with their debut single "Dance the Way I Feel". The trio of young men (Joe, Caan and Charles) are from Camden, which helped shape and mold them as musicians. Caan stated, "In Camden, you're surrounded by all these crack heads and gunshots does inspire you to get in the studio and write, so I suppose Camden does influence our music!" Influenced by Camden or not their new single, which is also the name of their album "Dance the Way I Feel" is definitely worth giving it a listen too.
